Day to Day Tour Plan
Day 1: Nairobi – Amboseli National Park
We’ll meet and greet you at the airport, hotel, or residence, providing a brief overview of your wildlife tour program. Departing from Nairobi, our journey takes us to Amboseli National Park, offering a leisurely drive through Emali town. The majestic sight of Mount Kilimanjaro signals our arrival. Upon reaching Amboseli, we’ll enjoy a short game drive en route to our lodge or luxury tented camp for check-in and lunch. An afternoon game drive awaits, including a visit to Observation Hill to admire the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. Amboseli’s abundant wildlife, including elephants, lions, and various antelope species, will enchant us before we return to our lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Amboseli National Park
We rise before sunrise to witness the breathtaking view of Mount Kilimanjaro and embark on an extensive game drive. Mount Kilimanjaro’s snow-capped peaks create a picturesque backdrop for wildlife photography. Amboseli’s swampy terrain is home to herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, and a variety of bird species, providing ample opportunities for wildlife enthusiasts and photographers alike. We’ll spend the day exploring the park’s beauty before returning to our lodge or luxury camp for meals and overnight stay.
Day 3: Amboseli National Park– Tsavo West
Optional early morning game drive followed by breakfast. We then depart for Tsavo West, passing through Chyulu Gate. En route to our lodge or luxury camp, we’ll enjoy game viewing and visit the Rhino Sanctuary. In the afternoon, another game drive awaits as we search for the “Big Game” of Tsavo West. Dinner and overnight stay at our lodge or luxury tented camp.
Day 4: Tsavo West – Salt Lick Safari Lodge
An early morning game and scenery viewing drive through Tsavo West awaits us, with sunrise providing a stunning backdrop. We’ll visit Mzima Springs to observe hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species. Afterward, we proceed with our game viewing drive, exploring the park’s diverse landscapes. Later, we drive to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, home to four of the “Big Five,” and enjoy game viewing from the unique Salt Lick Lodge famed for being among the World’s Most Photographed Lodges. An afternoon game drive and overnight stay at the lodge follow. Visit the underground tunnel and bunker with ground level windows that provides unbelievably close, yet safe access to variety of animals as they frequent the water hole for water & salt licks
Day 5: Salt Lick Safari Lodge – Diani Beach
We begin our day with an early game viewing exercise, following animal trails and witnessing sunrise in the park. After breakfast, we check out and drive to Diani, arriving at the Beach Resort in time for lunch. The afternoon is at leisure.
Day 6: Diani Beach
Enjoy a day of leisure with optional excursions at a beach front Resort, booked on an all-inclusive basis.
Dive into the crystal-clear waters for a refreshing swim or try your hand at exciting water sports like snorkeling, kayaking, or paddleboarding.
Indulge in delicious seaside dining with fresh seafood and tropical cocktails served right on the beach. For those looking to unwind, Spa offers rejuvenating massages and wellness treatments. With breathtaking ocean views and endless activities, your beachfront getaway promises an unforgettable experience.
Day 7: Departure
After breakfast, we transfer to Moi Airport for your return flight home, marking the end of this exciting 7-day Kenya wildlife safari trip.
